Job Description
Joining as a Forklift Operator for our client in Brampton, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklift, handling inventory, and ensuring a safe and clean warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Location: Brampton, ON
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Every 3rd weekend 10 hrs shifts 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Employment Type: Full-time | Temporary
Responsibilities
- Manually handle incoming shipments
- Verify purchased product and order information for accuracy
- Perform periodic and systematic audits on warehouse inventory
- Organize items/materials so they can be easily located
- Pull, pack, and label materials for shipment to ensure items are delivered without damage
- Assist in loading trucks
- Prepare local delivery route
- Maintain fork/lift in a clean and safe working condition
- Operate equipment in safe and professional manner
- Provide support and help with any other duties as needed
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
- Forklift license or certified
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safe handling materials and standard warehouse procedures
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow directions
- Basic computer skills
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team
